About Us
Inspired by a passion for sustainable practices, community involvement, and vintage IKEA; Rare Finds was created as a hub for rehoming second-hand furniture, unique objects, and household wares. Based in Stockport, we organise regular flea markets across Greater Manchester from our studio, where you can contact us for services such as house removals and hire. All of our services are aimed to make vibrant and creative interiors accessible to all, and to keep second-hand furniture and items within the eco-system to reduce unnecessary waste.
Rare Finds begun in early 2022, when we opened our first shop in Stockport to sell the latest finds and organise regular flea market events. In April, we hosted our very first flea market, Rare Finds Flea, in the backyard of the shop which inspired us to bring Rare Finds Flea to other venues across Greater Manchester including monthly markets with Freight Island and Band on the Wall. Joined by an incredible collection of traders and sellers, we aim to make all our events collaborative and productive for the local community and second-hand businesses.
In late 2023, we moved into our pop-up space above our sister shop Plant Shop Manchester in Stockport. Here we curate flea markets across Stockport and Greater Manchester, and we are always interested in meeting new traders or venues who might be interesting in joining us for the next Rare Finds Market event. We’re open every week for visitors to browse, shop, and meet our wonderful team!
